European Success

Incite

Towards a more flexible and sustainable chemistry

INCITE is a European project that implements new production, extraction and purification processes involving innovative technologies.

By developing flow chemistry, photochemistry, enzymatic conversion and membrane processes – all on an industrial demonstrator scale – the INCITE project aims to reduce the CAPEX and OPEX required for industrial production, to reduce the environmental impact of the processes while training current and future employees in the field.

The main objectives are:

  • To increase the versatility of the solutions developed in the project,
  • To increase the productivity, yield and purity of the synthesised products,
  • Improve resource management and reduce the energy requirements of the processes.
